Marcus uses a range of chiropractic techniques to reduce pain and promote function, specializing in neck and lower back pain from poor posture and work ergonomics. Dr. Wong enjoys getting to know his patients as individuals and he takes personal pride in ensuring that everyone leaves True Health Studio after having a positive experience and noticeable results.
Dr. Wong is a licensed and a member of The British Columbia Chiropractic Association and the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia. He has also met the standards of the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. Marcus is fluent in English and Cantonese.
Away from the clinic, Marcus is an avid Vancouver Canucks fan and enjoys staying healthy by cycling all over Vancouver.
It’s pretty incredible how much a well-adjusted spine can affect your posture and overall well being. Your spine is known as the “highway of your nervous system and brain” and it controls all of your body’s condition. Simply by keeping it aligned and healthy helps you function at your very best.
I personally think that the most important factor for the fastest recovery and optimal results is a sound education. That is why my initial visits are different than what may be the norm for chiropractors in Vancouver. I like to spend around up to an hour with my patient during their first consultation to take time to discuss the conditions the patients are experiencing and understand their lifestyle and explain to them their options for treatment after performing a physical examination.
As much as I enjoy having my patients recover (especially from symptoms they claim to be ‘incurable’ by other practitioners), my favourite part of being a Chiropractor has been getting to know my patients as individuals – being able to be a part of their lives, witnessing as they go through some of life’s biggest milestones, and watching their children and family grow. Every patient is a person to me and I have been fortunate to have gained some great friends throughout my career.
